About Heart Trace
About Heart Trace
Heart Trace turns one simple dare into a game: can you draw a heart in a single, unbroken stroke and make it truly symmetrical? The instant you lift your pen the game compares your line to the ideal outline, then rewards you with a score from 0 to 100 percent. There is no sign-up and nothing to install — just open the page, draw, and find out how steady your hand really is.
How to Play
Choose one of ten heart shapes from the selector at the top — start with Classic, then take on curveballs like Tall, Wide, Tilted, Pointy and Wavy. Trace over the faint dotted guide in one continuous motion, keeping both curves the same size and closing the two ends neatly at the point. When you finish, Heart Trace shows your accuracy, a cheerful rating, and a shower of sparkles for a great run. There is no timer and no penalty for practising, so you can retrace the same shape as many times as you want.
Tips for a Higher Score
Slow, deliberate strokes almost always beat rushed ones. Begin at the little dip between the two humps, glide down to the bottom point, and sweep back up so your line finishes exactly where it started. Draw big and use most of the canvas — a larger heart gives the scorer more detail to grade, while tiny scribbles get rejected. Every level quietly saves your personal best, so there is always a number to chase. If your first attempt wobbles, do not worry — even a bean-shaped heart is worth a laugh, and the next stroke is a fresh start.
Heart Trace works on phones, tablets and desktops — draw with a finger, a stylus or a mouse. Happy with a heart? Tap Share ♡ and dare a friend to trace a smoother one. It is completely free to play.
